Grant for drilling new well

Hi everyone

In middle of new build in Cork area and am hoping to drill for new well in next few months. Just wondering has anyone gotten a grant for drilling a new well and if so what % of the cost does it cover. I am not even sure if you can still get them or is it only if it is impossible to get the grant if it is impossible to get mains water to the house?

I have the relevant form but just wondering if anyone has actual experience with the grant.

Hadn't realised that this was still on the go

Shows how far advanced we are in Donegal...the entire county has a piped supply

For new builds it is not. The building has to be at least 7 years old.

I'm digging this one up again and hoping for some good news.

From what I have read there is no grants available for new builds to drill a well when it is necessary?

And why are new builds excluded anyway?

Well G2DG, you're getting fair use out of your shovel by digging this thread up after 3 years...if you kept going you'd have the well dug and all
