    Hi there,

I have friends coming over to visit me in Dublin and they are on a rather strict budget. Three people at about €74 each (for two nights). Haven't the foggiest about hostels, any ideas around Dublin city centre?

    Cheers!

They should have no problem finding a place with that budget, especially if they don't mind dorm rooms. Just look at hostels.com or some such site. I'd strongly recommend staying well away from Abigail's Hostel in Templebar. Have had some terrible experiences there with dirty, smelly rooms and really loud guests in the middle of the night (some hostels have policies against this - Abigail's doesn't). And the last time I stayed there they gave my bed to someone else while I was out shopping.
