Hey guys, I bought a new (old) car on Friday - filled in the registration book etc but obviously it would only be getting to the motor tax office around now. Thing is I went on the M50 and I totally forgot to pay the charge the next day.

Is it possible for me to call now and pay the fine based on my reg? Or do I have to wait for the guy I bought the car from to get the letter etc?
    Thanks

Phone them and ask... its only 3 euro.

They are hardly going to abuse you or anything.

You can ring them with the reg and pay it.

When I sold my last car to a garage, the garage were using it for a couple of days as a loaner to people (they told me this). I could still see the toll charges against the car in my name in my eflow account, but the garage paid the charges separately online.

Nice one thanks. I tried calling but its an endless loop of automated messages... I'll ask on the eflow forum, cheers

Just ring with the reg and pay it.

The last car I sold, I got a letter a week or so later for not paying the toll, when I rang them they said just ignore it as someone(new owner) had called and paid it.

Cheers, just go through and paid it there. Easier than I thought!
