Ok, so Mr Segal has tipped Medermit for this and at 9/1 I'd be inclined to place a decent wager, assuming he actually runs in it.
His price wont drop a whole pile between now and the day...
As an outsider, Kalahari King at 20's is serious E/W value for the race..

Is Kalahari King not 26 years old or something. I've backed him at a dozen festivals surely

I think KK might have won last year with a better ride.

While The Ryanair is ultra competitive I'm not sure it's the classiest renewal. I'd certainly consider KK if 20/1 was there when they go NRNB. Our Vic & Albertas Run both won this race aged in double figures

One of my favourite races is the Ryanair. Its the competitiveness that draws me in to these races. Grade 1 races are often won by run away winners but you tend to get a great finish in this. Would love to see Albertas win another. My pick at this stage for the race would be Albertas and Great Endeavour

My own fancy for this is if there's a bit of cut in the ground Rubi light and if the ground is good Noble Prince, either way I just think the Irish form is that bit better.

    I think Somersby will win

Do you really think he will stay 2m 5f around Chelt in a championship race? QM would be my choice if he was mine, if anything was to go amiss with Sizing Europe he is as good if not better than the rest.

Trying to second guess Henrietta however is akin to predicting the tricast in the county hurlde!

Ya, I have to agree with Segal. Fancy Medermit, a staying on second and getting to Go Native in the 09 supreme and didn't have the pace in the Arkle last year. A decent bet!

Kalahari King has been nowhere near his usual form this season and is now 11, can't see it myself even though I backed him last year.
