Just put up on Done Deal a 1977 Triumph Tr7 softtop , with an original irish reg and only one owner, if the guy thats selling it is the original owner he surely must have a fantastic story to tell re the cars history ,

Must have cost him a fortune back in those days to specially commision a softtop tr7 especially when the might of BL were not able to produce them for a further 3 or 4 years.
This must be a very very rare car and would be of major interest to the tr7 clubs back in the UK.
Id love to buy it myself , but id be worried about all the attention it would get

Lots of comments from the late MaxDamage there.

^^^ :D, you would miss his input on matters such as these.

In relation to the TR, is it most likely therefore that it is not in fact an original Irish TR7 convertible ?

Also, it must have been a reasonably well known car reg in its own locality. There cannot have been many TR7s of any variant registered in North Tipp in 77 in either yellow or Gold.
Its surprising that nobody remembers the car in its day.

I remember playing in an original 1977 Triumph convertible spitfire in yellow as a child in Nenagh. No idea what happened it or if that's the reg number
