    Hi Guys,

Just wondering has anybody got any tips on the cheapest way to send a box of clothes back home? The box wouldn't be too heavy (15kgs approx.) and it seems Australia Post don't do sea mail to Ireland. I am not concerned about the length of time it takes to get home. Thanks in advance.:)

AP do sea mail. Sent a box from Sydney to Dublin. Think it was about ten dollars per kilo. Took three months to get to Ireland.

Aus Post definitely do seamail back to Ireland

I'm moving home this week and I've been using this company - discountfreight.com.au. My GF sent a decent sized box of stuff (40cm x 43cm x 60cm) which weighed about 30kg home last week for $150, that was with our own box (got it from a storage place for less than $5), gets home in about 3 months and they pick it up from your place. They do specials most days on their site so worth keeping an eye out.

Yes thanks folks. You are correct. I just asked in my local P.O. Cheers.

Sea mail too. Cheap and cheerful. Sometimes they give tracking number so you can hold on to some hope that it will arrive
