Hi Im really hoping someone can help.
Myself and my boyfriend are 24 and have an 8month old baby. We want to immigrate to Australia, my boyfriend has aunts and uncles over there but neither of us have any of the skills they're looking for. Is there any corses we could do now or if we proved we could fund ourselves until we got work over there would we be let in?
Any help or advice would be great and very much appreciated! Thanks.

Have a read of this: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056505082

You really have only two options
    1) Sponsorship - which means you'll have to find a job then they will sponsor you to stay on
    2) Migration - the above link

Courses probably won't do you much good, university/college degrees are what would be needed, and work experience also.

What do you guys do? any trades etc?

Hiya thanks for the reply. We went to usit today and were basically told not a chance without a migration lawer :(
my boyfriend did fitted kitchens etc but has no papers and just recently got qualified in guttering and rain water harvesting. I've done lots of sales, in company training and customer service. All pretty useless for what we want :(

What sort of a qualification is it? Is it a proper trade?
If not it would be hard for him to get in. Tbh I think your options are very limited. With a v young family you don't want to be making such a big move without any guarantee of work. Oz isn't meant to be flying by any means. A lot of the real in demand work is only available in the mines and associated remote areas.
    Best of luck.
