Not stirring the pot, but how come Dungarvan held a Blaa festival, when they're neither made there nor as far as I know consumed there to any great degree?

Bit of creative thinking to get a bit of money spent in the place for a day or so. Good idea and good luck to them I say.

Joint fundraiser evening (rather than a festival) for the Festival of Food and the Munster Fleadh - the "Fleadh Blaa Hooley" - had music from Ceomhaltas and a BBQ with meats sponsored by Truly Irish and Blaas from Barron's Bakery, Cappoquin who are one of the three bakeries who produce blaas.

Great stuff well done to all involved.

I was at it and it was a great evening, I heard a figure of 400 attended it so hopefully made a few bob for each festival.
