    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering is it standard practice to have a contract with the hotel detailing the package agreed when you book the hotel for the reception?

    Thanks everyone!

Yes it is - to protect both you and the hotel.

    Hi Peanut_M,
I think the contract you sign doesnt give too many details because the packages change from year to year. It would probably contain more details if your wedding date is in the same year.
When we signed ours it didnt contain specific details because the packages would change before our wedding date .
    Hope this helps!

    Once you pay the deposit.
You get a contract with details of everything that you have agreed and your individual requirements.
