i have an advisor panel and am trying to connect up the home phone system so when the alarm trips it will call my mobile phone. is this possible
i cant seem to get it working
heres the connections on my panel
    pstn: Earth, A/R , B/T , Ax/R1 , Bx/T1 ,
my phone line has 2 wires blue and white

i also bought a ats voice reporting module
which has a standard phone line connection built in

even though its installed and has a flashing led i cant seem to find any options in the keypad programming for it
also only allows me to program pstn or pc connection

Not the most straight forward system to set this up on, think I did 1 when they first came out. You will need to connect then main line to A/R B/T, that is the main line into the control panel to give it priority over other phones in the house. The return line comes out on AX/R1 BX/T1 to be connected to all other phones.

The protocol needs to be set up for voice. Without acknowledge needs to be set to yes so a user needs to hit a number on there phone to acknowledge the call. Voice mapping needs to be set up so that messages can be assigned to each voice message.

A separate voice dialer would of being a better option with regards setting it up on this system.
