Anybody else watching the add breaks on Sky Sports.
Mickelson and Keegan Bradley are currently leading by 1 on -8.
Great to see Phil coming back to some form like old, should be a good watch tonight for when they actually show the golf.

Backed Phil dustin and Arron badly. So have interest. At least we can post here during breaks.

Sergio -5 thru 7 today. Been an up and down tournament for him to say the least.

i took out phil and brought keegan into my fantasy team, so this is interesting for me :D

-8 through 12 now  (-6 for tournament).

Hes right in the mix if he keeps this going.

And I dropped Sergio after his earlier rounds and he's -8 through 12 now, bugger. :pac:

Good par putt for Sergio there, if he could manage to get himself to -7 for the tournament he could be in with a great shout for a playoff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,512 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

come on sergio.... hope he keeps it going! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 948 ✭✭✭SSK

Think Sergio's gonna come up a couple shy but a great effort nonetheless. Phil looks like he's running out of a bit of steam but I'd say a playoff is looking likely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,512 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

bad miss there sergio. hit it thru the break

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Such a shame, those putts inside 4ft have always been Sergios weakness. If he can ever sort that out he will be a world beater again.
Have to say though I've forgotten how much i love Garcia. He's one of the few players that can get me genuinely excited when in contention.

Just after scanning through the leaderboard there...anyone like to hazard a guess who had 6 bogies in a row on the way to a 78??

Thought you were talking about Harrington there for a moment.:o But i wasn't expecting him. He has a very poor start to the season by his lofty standards, will do well to defend next week.

A little more surprising than that ;)

Nope Harrington's done quite well today. Luke on the other hand is experiencing a bit of second year blues, I'm still amazed he came back as early as he did, would have thought he would have taken a longer break

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Was surprised by how early he came back also, doesn't seem to have done him any good.
If Keegan Bradley ever decides to play a euro tour event, he would do well to break even with all the spitting he has been doing. The Euro tour would make a fortune off him with all the fines they would be lashing out. :D

Aye..Whats with that spine angle, its crazy looking...

There's no one I can think of with a set up like that. He gets some purchase on that ball though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

It's not just his setup, its his pre shot routine.
Anybody see Sky ripping into him about his routine before his 2nd shot into 13. He must have taken about 2 minutes the hit the ball. Funny to watch as long as your not playing with the fella.

I will never put a love heart on my head. Even if they said ok 1mill for the year. I would never put a red love heart on my head:eek:

Shocking idea, must have got a couple of pr girls working on it, people do notice it , i guess that is the trick .

I mean sergio always had nice gear, he has enough money not to go around with a love heart on his head.

But he is getting a bit old for the jump fist pump (lol)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,512 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

love the fist bump from the two of them after phils putt and then the high 5's after keegans. great sportsmenship

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

The crowds reaction after Phils putt was incredible, doubt even his putt to win the Masters got such a reaction.

See the guy rolling around thumping the ground. Only Phil can send a crowd into such a frenzy :pac:

This Phil makes the majors a bit more interesting this year.

Thats why despite all the sh*te the American crowds can come out with, you have to love them. You wouldn't see reactions like that from European crowds bar in the Ryder Cup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,185 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

    fancy bradley to win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,057 ✭✭✭irish bloke

Yeah exactly as Denis Pugh said it, respect before the shot, go mental after, love it.

Cracking drives by all 3, this really is quality stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭dvemail

Thought Keegans shot was stuck, just kept on rolling. Super shot.
