applying for deers licence

hey guys

just bought a 243 and have got permission to shoot deers , was going to apply in march for licence . i know when the deer season is but do i need to wait to apply for the licence . seeing as the season is nearly over this year .

first off good luck with 243 i have bruno 243 meself good gun have to say also if you got your permissions there lad might as well send them all in with the application form good luck

Hi you can apply for your deer licence now because it is valid till the 31/7/2012 this covers some people that get section 42 to cull deer out of season. I would apply now because you can apply for your rifle licence once you have it .And you would have everything in order for the start of next season once you have your deer hunting licence you will automatically get your renewal from npws

I doubt that be an easy one to get as i guess there would want to be a sight of deer and good reasons for them to issue that section 42 deer licence. I think he's wasting his time going for that one is he?

I did not say he should look for a section 42 i did say the deer licence is valid till 31/7/2012 so in theory you can apply for it . And some stalkers do get section 42 but that is a different topic

contacted monaghan today and she informed me that i can apply and get my licence if everything is right on aplication . but i will have to re apply in july again. cheers guys for the help.

Good news if you photo copy your permissions and folio numbers when you get your renewal in july just get land owner to sign and date it saves them digging out the numbers for you

It shouldnt take too long to get it either i started out in da middle of december and i had my deer licence and gun licence recieved by the 15 jan.
if only i could get the gun collected as quick id be doing ok. hoping to collect today
