    Hey All,

I have plenty of special occasion (wedding , funeral etc.) suits.
But I recently changed job and need to wear a suit every day.My "fancy suits" are fine for 1 or 2 days , but I'm concerned they won't stand up to 5 days a week wear.
Wheres the best spot for "hard wearing" suits ? I'm thinking M&S or the lower end of the range in Debenhams. Budget is around €300 per suit.

    Thanks

Wool is the sturdiest fabric so get some suits in that.

    Worsted wool

Firstly, M&S will do you just fine for work suits - just include money in your budget to bring them to a tailor afterwards.

Secondly, if you're working in a suit every day you really do need at least 5 suits so that each gets a week's break between wearings. However, if money is tough then start out with three (Navy and Charcoal are your first two, and avoid black) and work up to five when you can.

Lastly, have fun choosing them :)

Quick update , went to Con Murphys in town (Cork) yesterday (YAY Payday !!)
    got 2 suits ( 1 grey, 1 faint pinstripe) Including tailoring - €390.

not cheap suits - good suits reduced.
