    Not unless youre constantly installing apps without checking them out 1st (like copies of popular games especially like that Temple Ran)

    Not needed, just be careful about what apps you install. Read reviews before install.

    I don't install 3rd party at all and i imagine i'm fairly safe by sticking to market downloads .After the carrier revelations i decided to put nothing of real info. about me at all on a new phone until i'm certain of security .Google Wallet had a problem recently .I'll wait quite a while .Can Market apps. be tampered with ?

    I use avast anti theft.
    It has an av built in, which scans regularly but never finds anything.
    Just be careful, you will bee grand
