ebay postage/delivery

    Hi,

    I'm currently registered on ebay.ie. However, I've seen an item I want on ebay.co.uk but the seller will only post to the UK and doesn't want to change their postage settings.

    I could get the item sent to a UK address but I'm still being blocked when I try to bid. Does anyone know how I can get around this situation?

    Would I have to change my address?

    You cant - unless you contact the seller and get them to add you as an exception to their rule.

    why not ask the seller if he/she will consider shipping here?

    Only way to get round this is to get someone you know from the UK to buy it for you, get delivered to them, then they send it to you
