I think that's the worst yet. Where do they even get these names?

His initials are K.O. . Probably Chris's idea.

    Britini Knight is

I dunno I think the name Kassius kinda suits him.

Still not as good as having Hero in your name though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,116 ✭✭✭starviewadams

Paige isn't bad at all for Britani, but that Kassius name is bloody ridiculous!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭Machismo Fan

It's a good start for him, Kassius Ohno is currently trending worldwide on Twitter, that's almost grounds for a push these days.

Kassius Ohno - I think I like it.

I swear they just get drunk and give a prize to whoever comes up with the worst name :pac:

Kassius Ohno? Hmm, not sure what to think, but he will always be Chris Hero to me.

I wonder will they make him cut his hair. I know years ago, that HHH wanted to be the only long haired bearded one in the company. Though Edge did have that look going on for a few years then.

Anyway, I cannot see Hero being anything other than a huge success in the company. The guy is pure class as a worker and a brilliant heel. I hope he isn't stuck around FCW for too long.

don't know anything about this guy. has he got what it takes to be a main eventer? christ knows the roster needs a shake up

As a heel 100% he has a chance, but only to make it as far the upper mid card. Dean 'Jon Moxley' Ambrose has the best chance to be a main eventer of any FCW talent

I agree that as a heel he can go all the way to the top of the card, but he is just awful as a face. I hated smiling Chris Hero in PWG.

I own two Hero t shirts and couldn't find myself getting behind him as a face. I hated it so much!

So excited for him to get buried on National TV like all my indy favs!

I am never that bothered about weird names tbh. If we're honest, "Hulk Hogan", "Ric Flair" and "The Rock" would all be torn apart if they were introduced today...

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 22,933 Mod ✭✭✭✭Bounty Hunter

I think his first name is fairly cool and could work for him once the WWE dont put too much focus on the sirname. Can def see comentators going "oh no it's ohno" a lot

hhh and nash have another skinny fat guy to make fun of

Hero was never really ripped to begin with. Add in that he has hardly wrestled in recent months (meaning he likely did a lot less training) and it's not really a surprise to see him get a little flabby. Shouldnt take him long to get back to his old self once he goes back full time.

yeah but he had to get clean before he could sign with wwe

Can see Hero being more Scotty Goldman than Daniel Bryan but if they have Claudio and himself form a tag-team things might be OK.

Ancient Rome and Japan by the looks of it. ;)

Can't see the surname (at the very least) making it off FCW.

Reminds me of when i was reading Chris Jericho's book and he mentioned that someone proposed giving Billy Gunn the name Billy Bitchcakes, if only.

It's not exactly set in stone that Chris and Claudio are going to be a tag team in WWE seeing as WWE doesn't give a damm about tag teams anymore.

WWE has signed the new Diesel. "Big Rig" Brodie Lee

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

In fairness, he's far better than Nash ever was.

But thats yet another of the some what big names gone from the Indy's. Someone must have said to Vince that since Bryan and Punk have been such successes, they should sign everyone popular and hope another one hits it big.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

I am very high on this generation of indie wrestlers personality wise. But Brodie like Hero and Danielson is known as one of the most likeable people around. He has a new born too so this is cool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,491 ✭✭✭thebostoncrab

Delighted for Brody. He could do very well in the WWE, givin his size and surprising skill for a big guy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,477 ✭✭✭Riddle101

Seems to have a limited moveset. But I can see this guy being brought up to the WWE very quickly and being built as a new monster wrestler. No doubt Kane will be jobbing to him in a few months time:rolleyes:.

When did moveset ever matter in WWE? If it does (which it doesnt) you seem to only judging from a highlight video.

Brodie doesn't have the Matt Morgan or Mason Ryan body WWE creams themselves over. He is "only" 6ft 6'' , has a horrible upper body by WWE standards and has somewhat a gawky looking face not a million miles Eli Cottonwood.

Finally who cares about Kane. :P

(1)Moveset dosen't matter. But when a guy only has 5-7 moves in his aresnal I consider that pretty limited. As for the video I looked him up on the internet and it seems pretty much the same. I'll reserve my judgement for him when I see him. But I don't like him instantly after seeing him. Especialy when someone on here called him the next Kevin Nash.

(2)WWE always goes for big wrestlers though. 6ft 6 is a good height for a man, WWE looks to bring up. As for his look? That can be fixed.

(3)Nobody cares about Kane, it was a joke.

A limited move set hasn't held Cena back. It doesn't matter how many moves you do, what matters is how you are presented.

Nope I called him the next Diesel due his gimmick and general fandom of the mid 90s character.

What's he like in the ring then? Has he got good in ring psyschology and storytelling?

Diesel? More like former WWE superstar Eugene.

Except that Eugene had an reason to wrestle like a retard. This guy doesnt.

What terrible name will he be given in FCW maybe Cesare Figardo, Anthro Silantro or Greg Craig. Don't know why this deserves its own threat its not major news or that. Hope he fairs better than the last guy who looked like Nash, remember the way people were buzzing about the guy who managed Tyson Kidd then he was gone.

I would wager that the choosing of names in FCW for Indy stars is done by a bunch of manatees selecting different 'name balls' in a giant tank.

Ohno reminds me a lot of Foley, they way he speaks, the beard and long hair.
