    Hi there,

I work in the multilingual environment. I speak 4 languages and write them fluently and have university qualifications to that effect.

I am working in a job where I utilize these 4 languages on a daily basis. I have compared my salary with that of my peers on the same scale who use one language and work with less markets. They are paid the same as me.

I have passed the mandatory probation periods and am fully integrated into the company.

Can anyone tell me if I have a right to ask for additional money? How might one go about stating one's case in this regard?

    Thanks!

You're always entitled to ask for more money, but not entitled to get it!

Do they have defined salary bands and job specs for the various roles?

If so, then maybe you can try and show that you're being paid at the current level of a band, yet have the skills, experience and duties of someone who's at the higher end / in a higher band.
