Itchy calves - bruising feel

I'm a 36 year old male. For the past year or so my lower legs have felt bruised and swollen to the touch. There's nothing I've done to cause the bruising to my knowledge. In addition, my calves are very itchy. Has anyone experienced similar? It goes away sometimes but, more often than not, I have it. Thanks.

If you've had it a year, chances are it's not going to go away on its own. You should see your doctor.

Don't scratch them. If you have varicose veins, scratching can cause ulcers (pretty).
Go to your GP.
