i got eefed out by a spot check

    i am claiming supp welfare allowance while waiting on a blind pension claim due to an accident wer a car areal jammed into my eye tor the muscle an hit the nerve and caused permanent damage
    i got 2-3 days work 3 weeks ago and tonight a spot check in the shop and i got basicly reefed out by the woman coz im Romanian i have full work rights and i have worked legally in ireland im just wondering wt will happen because i didnt acctualy get a chance to do to the dole office to say i got some part time work ??

    Are you working in a shop as well as the other work you did? If so then your invalidity pension claim may be affected. It is also your own responsibility to inform the social welfare office when and if you get work, even if it is only one day which would not affect your payment you still must notify them.

    yes but the woomans main concern was my work permit i was not aked if i was claiming any thing and no i am a chef i was a good one ti i got the jab in the eye iv lost about 70 % sight in my right eye due to it so i got a job on the till in a chipshop doing 2 or 3 days so im thinking that i might get vut off it is under 30 hours the max iv done for them is about 27 hours so im worried about getting cut off and having to pay back wat iv claimed so far im in enough financial trouble as it is is ther a chance of that hapening ??

    It is not up to your employer to ask you about your social welfare status.

    Everybody is require by law to notify the dept of social welfare if their circumstances change.
