I have made many calls to upc tech support but no help there either. I have a cisco 2425 modem & did have a thompson but no fix on either. If anyone can give any advice i would be very grateful.

With a nearly 3 year old account and plenty of posts, this kind of thing should not be turning up the Helpdesk.
