    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could help me with some advice?

I have been living in AMerica for last 3 years studying in American college. I am hoping to return to finish my degree in Ireland in September. I'm 24

Does anyone know if there is any grants that I would be eligible for? Given that I have lived in America for last 3 years does that rule me out of all the grants?

    Thanks very much

You probably wouldn't get a grant

Since the academic year 2010-2011, you must have been legally resident in the State for 3 of the previous 5 years to qualify for a maintenance grant. However, if you are studying elsewhere in the EU for a recognised qualification, and you were resident in the State for 3 of the 5 years before starting that course, you satisfy this requirement. Find more details
    of this requirement on studentfinance.ie.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
