Where can find a travel partner?

Hi everyone, Im looking for someone to travel with and just signed up to couch surfing and globe trooper, does anyone know of any other places i could find a travel partner ?

I really want to travel this summer and my friends cant accompany me for various reasons but this is just something i want to do.
Im female and will be 20, hoping to travel end of may/start of june onwards for at least three weeks (i hope! ), starting off in berlin and interailing most likely through germany and maybe onto another country or two, have no real plans at all but prague and budapest OR else on to amsterdam eventually. Hostels all the way, im a cheapo student so fairly tight budget, im quite open minded and open to suggestions but i think id prefer a girl my own age, but thats not definite
plans are very very flexible (seeing as they are practically non existent :P) so yeah, thats all really!

If you're staying in hostels, you'll meet people anyway. Some may even be going the same route as you. I'm 26 and headig off on my own to North America - usually need someone stuck to me but like that, friends can't/won't go so I've made my own arrangements

You dont need to worry about finding a travel partner, just go for it on your own, i travel solo all the time! Its definitely the best way to go. Once you do it youll realise that and youll have no problem going alone again, it just gives you so much freedom to do your own thing!

As said above, youll easily meet people in hostels, for nights out or daytrips or whatever (most of them will be solo too), and couchsurfing will be a great way to meet people and it will save you paying for accomm too!!
