    Hi,

Can anybody shed some light on these rocks that have reputedly moved on the moons surface leaving obvious tracks?

The rocks in question are upwards of 9meters in diameter.

    Cheers.

Gravity along with temperature oscillation from 190 to 250 kelvin (expansion/contraction) from 330 hour nights followed by 330 hour days along extremely gradual slopes is a very realistic explanation for this type of movement.

Look for "boulders" on moonzoo.org forum.
Hills are not "visible" in picture taken from the zenith, but there are a lot of hills and boulders on the moon!
