I may be going on Sunday if im not working doing the 10K. No details on the exact course but it wont be flat.

The starting point is given as "Labasheda, Ennis"...that's some warm up jog there!

I better get my bearings, would be travelling across on the Killmer ferry, if it's 40 mins the "wrong side" of Ennis it may be that bit too far.

i did the 10k last year. extremely hilly route. i think the half marathon was 2 laps of the 10k loop+ a bit extra. my garmin clocked the 10k about half a mile short.

If your coming from west cork, kerry west Limerick then the ferry across is the best bet. Its about 15-20 mins drive from the ferry crossing is 25 mins. Ferry is every hour on the half across from tarberet and every hour on the hour back.

Spoke with organiser last night 10K loop as last year but half marathon goes along the coast road toward kildysart up to coolmeen and back to start. This would have a 300ft undulating climb between coast and coolmeen. As i said there are no flat races in west clare.

No, did Mealagh 10 miler 2 weeks back, and Wild West Half Marathon this weekend, and had to work lots of that weekend anyway, so abandoned plans.
