Ferry from Ireland to France,Spain,Prescription Medicine,Limits,Guidelines,Advice,EU

    Hello Everybody,
Long time viewer first time poster. I think I have a decent question now.
I am travelling to france and on to Spain soon via the ferry. I know the limits for cigarettes and rolling tobacco and alcohol are high enough by my judgement.
And I am also aware that there is an single market trade bloc within the EU.
Basically I am wondering what are the customs implications if I bring back a lot of non-controlled prescription medicines, these are for my own use, but I want to bring a lot. What I am paying €100 for here in Ireland, is under €5 in Spain, so I really feel like I should take advantage of this and for once in my life not get shafted by the man again (Gov).
Is anybody aware of laws, rules or set limits? These medicines are over the counter in Spain, but in Ireland they require a prescription (which I have). But i am talking about buying several years supply here.
Anybody with any real information on this can advise me?

    Thank you very very much,

    G.

No idea about the rules, but might the medicines degrade over that length of time?
