    hi everyone,
i bought a pair of headphones off http://www.dealextreme.com for 59euro , after 2 weeks of "waiting for supplier" i decided that i would cancel my order and seek a refund , i got an reply saying it will be sorted by Monday 12th February .
It is now Thursday 16 th February and i have still not got my money back. I've gone threw the steps of emailing them from their section about this problem on their website but it now says "Pending Refund Authorization" .
I bought the headphones using an "o2 money card" and had to go through steps of copying my passport and a photo of my card , so i did not use pay-pal. I've bought from the site once before and had no problems.
The reason i'm posting my problem here is because I'm not sure what to do , i now need my money and i'm not sure to wait or not ?
So can anyone help me or give me advise ?
    Thanks,
    Aaron

I've ordered a dozen times from Dealextreme, it's never taken less than 8 weeks for delivery to Ireland. The wait for the supplier makes up around a month of that time. The refund process takes around 2 - 3 months.

When prices are suspiciously cheap, it's usually for a reason! Perhaps the children working there aren't that good at email correspondence?

If you only waited 2 weeks you should wait a bit longer. I've ordered from China a few times and it always takes 2-4 weeks to arrive.
I've never heard of 8 weeks as the person above said! Maybe his order go lost, same thing happened to me once or twice but I got a refund easily, but this was on ebay.

DealExtreme has some cool items at cheap prices. The trade-off is that delivery can be very very slow. While I've never had something take more than 4 weeks I have heard plenty of folk say it has taken 8 weeks for them to get their item. Just pop into the cycling forum and ask the chaps there how long they've had to wait for lights.

In short if you need something quickly DX isn't the place for you. If you're prepared to wait- then there's lots of cool stuff to be bought.
