I've seen this quite a few times about various Ford's,

Is it normal for the colouring on bulbs to go crispy and it to light up clear on most manufacturers or is it ford specific?

Is it a case of cheap bulbs or just wear over time? I always thought it was tinted glass?

Happens most if not all orange bulbs over time,
Get some silver ones, they look a lot nicer

My car failed because the tester deemed one bulb to be "clear" when illuminated....still looked orange though....
