As long as there's no sharp edges it should be OK.

    Cheers, should pass so.

Should do, but when you get a chance maybe throw a drop of paint on it to stop the rust.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Just had this car up for the nct today for a re-test.
I had got the lights 'aligned' in a garage before the nct aswell as a few other minor issues that the car had failed on.
I was told in the garage that the driver side light was dodgy & that it wouldn't focus 100%. Mechanic said to bring it up anyway, get a new headlight if it failed. Medium chance of passing. But the thing is, he said that the passenger side light was fine & focused correctly, but thats the one thats after failing! Now I only have 3 days left to do a 3rd test, & probably won't get a test before that! So I'll probably have to fork out for another full test where they'll probably find something else to fail on.. Really annoyed..!
You think mechanic should pay for re-test or what?

Should he fix the light for free?

A free alignment would be fair I'd say :)
Actually fixing it is a different kettle of fish as it may be broken or something.

Yeah suppose...Just very sick of these lights.:P Might just buy a second hand lamp can get one handy enough anyway. Tester said the level of the beam was okay just that the beam was veering off to the left or somethin...:(
