Hi All.

I'm looking to get a free to air package/saorview package installed in my home. i Have 3 T.V points and have to start from scratch dish wise. I got a quote from a Dublin company of e550 for full install inc, dish/aerial 2 HD boxes and a standard box for the bedroom. what do ye think?

Your expectations are 3 combo boxes producing Saorview and FTA satellite channels in each room. Right ?

What is 2 HD boxes?
What is a standard box ?

Sounds to me like you are being sold freesat boxes NOT combo boxes, so wont be getting Saorview, if that is the case.

Who was it ? Get a more detailed description of what they are installing and check back

Sounds okay to me-providing they are good experienced installers.I recently also started from scratch-Dish -Aerial -3 Ariva 120 Boxes-paid €580:mad: Happy with it but probably should have shopped around more-oh well its a once off....I hope.

I'd check their insurance etc is in order, sounds a little cheap to me. Like STB I'm also wondering what a "standard" box is as really 3 combos is whats needed to get RTE Digital and UK channels at 3 locations with independent viewing at each location.
