    Spent a small amount of time on the West coast of America , after Christmas , brought a film camera with me , thought I might share some of the images - was surprised by some of the hardship I saw , it is not just Ireland that is suffering- anyway here is the set :-

    I like the one titled 'ishilla crew' on the link. The portraits are good but are all cropped very tight. Some of them would benefit from some wider views to give context of where the people are and what they are doing.

    Personally I prefer tight cops , but thats just me , but i know what you mean too -

    regarding first image, its about as good as I can go , first image in a long while that I have been really happy with - had one from a few months ago in dublin that I liked, but cant display it now, and it won't go online

    Warmer climes, many homeless move West. LA has had a big problem with this, outcry from business so City brought in a regimen of 'expelling' the homeless people who have no LA links. Most move to SF which has an easier-going policy.
