€100 - Anything from GETAT. For the money they really are hard to beat.

I don't know enough to give specific examples - but a couple of my suggestions:

For 100 or so and up, you can't really go wrong with a Seiko. You'll get them cheaper than fashion brand watches (Timberland etc), but they'll be a lot more robust in my experience.

From about 250(?) up, I think Tissot are a great brand. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck, especially when you compare it to what's on sale for a few times the price.

The 50 - 60 quid spot HAS to go to the Russians :D

For that kind of money you can get a Vostok Amphibia, fully automatic movement with handwind function and date, three different case variants, all stainless steel, tough and reliable and 200 m waterproof.

Some of them even look half decent (once you go for the more neutral dials)

(you may have to ditch the bracelet though)

I think we should make a list of the best watches that can be bought for a specific budget. Eg:

    €5 - <snip>

Do Casio make F91W's in more colourful varieties these days? I hope these aren't fakes.

^ They do (make them) but those are fakes.

The 'crazy colours' F91's have the module facade in the same colour as the bezel and strap, plus the colours on those ones are 'off' plus he's selling for 3 quid where RRP is about 20 quid GBP.

i got two gold plated gents quartz on tz-uk last week for £10 delivered, now beat that, also i got 3 beaters on pmwf from poporazz for $11, plus $9 postage, does that make me king of the hill, i have the emails as proof.

I think this is more about new watches. It's a little bit harder to put a price range on 2nd hand bargains that can be snapped up.

Also 2 gold plated watches for 10 quid could in fact be a rip-off. If they came from a clean seller, then they would not be selling for much off the value of the watch, if they came from a dodgy seller...well...
