I was watchiing Monday nights PTI on ESPN America and they cut out the segments dealing with soccer issues.
On the side where it says the topics they will be discussing, they're is a segment called 'Suarez//Evra' and another that says 'ronaldo goal', but when it gets to them they have edited it out and they talk about the next subject.
I know it's an American show, but why put soccer segments in if your just gonna cut them out? I was interested to hear they're take on this racism issue but bow I'll never know! I found it very strange.

They show the football highlights in the US screenings of the show - but are forced to cut them out for the ESPN America screenings in UK & Ireland. Sky, BBC & RTE have the rights to show highlights of Premier League games in this part of the world, ESPN only have domain over their live games.

I'm a pod caster so I heard what they said on there. Wilbon thought he should go away for a few more games and Tony K was peeved at the way Suarez said he was going to shake the hand but didn't. He also said the issue was further complicated by the fact the owners of the Red Sox also own Liverpool.

Tony K said he blames LeBron since everyone blames LeBron for everything anyway

Wilbon finished up saying soccer has an enormous worldwide problem with racism and the sort of remarks that are made. People would be thrown out of leagues in America for the sort of comments that are made on the soccer field internationally according to him.

On a side note, if you are a PTI fan, check out the Tony Kornheiser Podcast. It comes out in one hour segments daily from his Washington radio show. He usually speaks to Wilbon for a while on Monday and Bob Ryan on Wednesday. I enjoy it anyway.

Yeah, poor old lebron, he can't catch a break!
Bob Ryan is pretty funny so I will check out the podcast.
That makes sense on the tv right issue but I'm sure I saw soccer highlights on there before, not that they give 2 ****s about it, that and ice hockey, I think Tony k would have them banned from PTI if he could!
