Magic eye question

I'm considering using a magic eye for a sky box in a room to send the signal to a bedroom right above it. Currently both rooms are connected to a distribution amp in the attic for DTT. The amp has only one input, if I got an amp with 2 inputs could I use it for DTT in one input and the RF out from the sky box on the other?
    If that makes sense.

I've another related question, I'm in a fringe area for saorview and only receive it by having a monstrosity of an aerial on a 12 foot pole on my chimney as well as a masthead amp. If saorsat is launched, I'm taking that eyesore down and I'll probably get a multi feed setup with a multiswitch. In this situation what is the best way to get the sky channels upstairs without moving the box?

Best way would be to run the terrestrial signal to the input on the back of the skybox and then use the rf2 to feed the signal back to your amp in your attic, this will now carry the terrestrial and sky signal.

However you will need an amplifier that is bi-directional to work with a magic eye.

    An example would be

Also available as a 4 and 16 way amp.

That's correct. Here's all the technical details about connecting it up:

Would that mean that there needs to be 3 cables? Currently there are only 2, one connected to the distribution amp the other to the sky box. I really don't fancy running another cable.

Is there any half decent wireless sender/receivers?

I'm away a lot of late, so it might be the impetus I need to lose the sky sub anyway.
