The outside cover on the left hand side door mirror was loose, and today I just got around to having a look at it.Removing it from the door was easy enough, but I found the tangs that hold it were all broke, except one:rolleyes:. I tryed to drill a hole through the cover to put a cable tie through it to hold it in.

I tried to remove the glass to get better access, I wish I didnt bother:rolleyes:.The manual said there are two clips on one side, and one on the other under the mirror to release it that I cant even see.Well I ended up making a dogs dinner of it:p.

I don't why manufacturers insist on using bloody plastic nowadays. Nearly every plastic part has snapped on it.So for all my skintflintness, I will have to look in a scrappy for another one.I really dont know what clips the manual are talking about:confused:.

    Anyone done this before?
