Terrano II heater matrix replacement

    How ya lads, need help

    I've a 2002 terrano II and I started getting the anti freeze smell a while back and steamed up windows(not from me and the mrs) then the other day it stated to over heat

    Looking on line it looks like the heater matrix needs replacing

    Looked around but no one has a Haynes manual

    I assume it's the dash out job but do I have to strip the likes of dials steroid etc first ????

    Any help would be great

    Yes, centre dash out at least but don't know to what extent. I was supposed to do this job for a neighbour but thankfully he went elsewhere! I acquired the matrix for him off ebay for around £75.

    You can download the official workshop manual if you do a search, Ford Maverick is the same vehicle and it goes under other names as well. You may have to pay a fee though.

    Actually, just looked at my copy and the dash assembly is just an exploded diagram, copy attached. With regard to the heater matrix the manual only covers the aircon model :rolleyes:
