just emailed tacx support to see if there is a discounted upgrade for existing users or people that just bought the genius..

Like most new releases, they probably won't do any discounting or upgrade offers until they've got full price from those willing to pay it. Give it a few months and I'd say it will be available much cheaper. I'll probably stick with 3.8 until late autumn and look at it again then. Some extra VR terrains would be nice, but not anywhere near €129 nice. I'd also have to upgrade the XP box I'm using to Windows 7 with a bit more ram and new graphics card, which adds a few bob more to the price.
