Passed f5 & f6 so looking to do two more in June.
Does anyone have any recommendation of which two to do next? Was thinking of doing f7 & f8/P1. Would either of these be good combinations?

Also any recommendations for lecturers/colleges in Dublin that would be helpful!

    Hey,

I sat F7 and F8 in December and passed them both. They're nice exams to sit together as you learn about all the IFRS/FRS standards in F7 which help a lot when sitting F8.

Yeah i had Dave for F7 and F8 (just did the revision classes for F8). Very good lecturer. He's easy to listen too which I think is very important when attending lectures after a days work.

I would highly recommend Reg Callanan at Griffith College for F7 & P2. They also do ao part time course in Tara Street which is really convenient for city centre. Good luck with both :-)

I am studied with BPP last term and passed both - Leo Norris for F8 and Garret Mulvin for F7 - both really good - the course notes at BPP are excellent and they also have online lectures so if you miss a class you can catch up online - would highly recommend! :)

F8 is all theory so I didn't think i'd benefit from sitting in a class every week. Not like F7 were your doing questions in class so I find it's easier to keep your concentration. If you do go with the revision class, you get access to the online material. Dave will post up every week what he's done in class so I just tried to stick with that and keep up with him.

I did F8 in lectures and personally think you benefit a lot from the lectures, because there is a lot of theory in it and I found it sinks in better when someone explains it.
F8 is theory but it is sometimes a hard paper to pass. It is also useful to have the notes for P1 which you have to do later on in ACCA as it has some similar course content. I did F8 lectures and then P1 as home study but if I had not done F8 lectures I would have gone to the P1 lectures.

All F7 and P2 exams are based on the international papers, the variants only add some extra local GAAP treatments, therefore all the colleges will be teaching the international paper.
