What box?

We currently have Sky installed for the sitting room. So I'm thinking a Saorview box is the best thing for her room. Would this be a good choice http://www.powercity.ie/?action=laptopbacker&pcode=DI1180 for the tv I have linked? If not, what do you recommend?

I'm not overly technical so think of me as a four year old in your responses! There is an aerial in the attic but I have no idea if it's connected or not, I'll have to ask the landlord, the bedroom has an aerial socket.

That set top box is Saorview approved so no problems there.

What is the bedroom TV connected to at the moment? To test out the TV point in the bedroom just connect the TV to it with a short co-ax cable and retune the TV.

The cable looks like this (note the connections). The Pink Tv that you linked to doesnt have the right tuner to pick up Saorview - its a UK model. You will need a Saorview box (as in powercity link) which you connect to the TV with the scart lead that comes with the box.

The cable to connect the Saorview box to your wall socket looks like this.



You will pick one up in a €2 euro shop.
