Yeah, I see what you mean. Could have at least put the brand name up there. In fairness though, a mobile number is given, so any particular information you require is just a call away.

As they say when you have to explain a joke it's not funny, I thought it was great that he was selling a white guitar with strings pre fitted etc. Serious fail on my part !:)

Going by the Barcelona FC bed sheets and the comment that he 'lost interest in guitar', I'd say it's some young lad who was given the guitar for christmas or whatever and just hasn't bothered to play it. So I'd say he knows feck all about guitars and in his mind that was vital details.

No one in their right mind would buy it - it's upside down

I agree. It could even be the lads parents advertising , who having bought the bass for him at Christmas are now trying to get some of their money back. Also, they probably know less about basses than the young lad himself. :D

"Will take any offer between 250 to 300"..... That's the worst part, not really holding out for the 300 much....

I cant really see what all the fuss is about. As I said earlier, there is a contact number given, so a deal can be thrashed out by phone, or arrangements made to view the item. I dont see the problem.

It's a Jack & Danny, one of the photos shows the headstock :)

    250 for everything you see!

Not a bad price for a guitar, strap, guitar stand, speaker stand, some hardwood flooring and a radiator.

I don't it either, did this really merit a post on boards?

    Give the guy a break...

Never thought i'd see the day, when people complain that there's too much detail in an ad!

The ad is good, plenty of pictures, good description, especially considering that his most likely customer will be a complete beginner some of the lines were basic, but still relevant.

Aw gawd, let this be a lesson, do not post what you think is an amusing link under the influence of a few glasses of wine on a Sunday evening ;) Lighten up people !

That's not a bad deal by all accounts. J&D les pauls are not bad quality, mines a LS500Sd, hard case, zoom pedal board. If I was in the market for a(nother) guitar, i'd prob give him a shout. God bless him. I hope he gets a sale for it.

Should have been in the "Humour" forum then. Hardly even qualifies as that though. :P

LOL !! At least the real Rigsby from "Rising Damp" was funny. So I do have a sense of humour. Your attempt at it though, did nothing for me I'm afraid. Dont give up the day job !! :D

What a surprise, another Instruments forum dragged off into pettiness.

Bod1, this is your only warning - attack the post, not the poster (or their name). Next time, you'll be banned
