There isn't much between them size wise.

Am looking to buy myself soon, so doing my research.

Giving up on the second hand market. Seen a lot of rusting crap in garages "never been used!" Maybe so, but I'd hate to be the one evicting all those spiders!

Where have you found the best prices for these machines?

I found it strange that a company from England can deliver them (£35) and still be cheaper than the local suppliers. And, I'm talking in excess of €100 on a €800/900 machine...

    I bought i proform 700 in Newry for £599.
Its basic, ie no fan, no ipod dock etc etc, but it is vv sturdy and had all the basics for most people. I have used it for 6 months and its great.
    To be recommended!!!

I would stay away from nordic track..i have heard from many sources that getting spare parts is a nightmare. I would go with a horizon machine as the warranty is excellent and when/if something goes wrong they are out in a couple of days to sort you out.

I have the horizon adventure 2..had the motor replaced under warranty..no charge and no fuss..apparently was just a dodgy unit i had..new motor is smooth and gives no issues.

Dont use it as much anymore as am doing most of my running outdoors...

The Elvery's offer is €849 + delivery and set up of €50. The store I spoke to would allow you buy it and take it away for the 849. Aparently Elvery's have the exclusive on this model.

The T7 (not much different) works out at €762 delivered from connection-fitness.co.uk (£600 + £35 irish delivery)

Bought one this morning in the Elverys at Arnotts. The salesman Tom was very helpful and did not push for the top of the range model. Agreed its a bit steep having to fork out another 50 euros for delivery. Just hope that the depressing news of getting spare parts does not arise. Seemed a sturdy machine,

Proform 700ZLT now €550 in Elverys. Pretty good value.

5% off if you find a student card...
