Do they go on the emmissions regardless of year? I bought a car up the north and they are looking at 32% charge on it, seems to be taken from the co2 emissions as opposed to the OMSP. The last car I bought was from england and they charged it on the OMSP.
****ing rediculous looking for e800 just to register it, my last car was e315.

It was first registered in april 2005, which is before the july 2008 date.

VRT is based on a percentage of the OMSP. The percentage will depend on the VRT band the car is in, the band is based on the car's emmissions rating. It has been this way since 2008.

Compare prices of similar cars here. Might not be worth the trip if the car is of small value unless it is immaculate.
