HVDC Modelling

    I will be conducting research into modelling HVDC transmission links in the next few months. There are a couple of technical challenges along the way thought.

    Any one have any experience of modelling HDVC trasmission?
    The focus is going to be on VSC as opposed to CSC. I am going to be more interested in Load Flow as opposed to transient studies.

    What is the best software in order to build an an accurate model. Mathlab, PSST ,NEPLAN or something else?
