Selling my old British eagle frame. Frame is 531ST and forks are 531. Comes complete with Modolo centre pull brakes. (back brake needs some work), new square taper bottom bracket and spare new brake cable (to be fitted). There are a few scratches and some superficial rust spots where the scratches are. I used this frame as a single speed until a couple of months ago but transferred everything over to another 531 frame I had..Size is 23.5". Looking for €75 ono.. South Dublin area..

Thanks for the offer BX19. It was never crashed by me but it does have a short wheel base. The forks are very straight down with not much rake angle and there is a small bit of toe overlap. Maybe its the design...

    Hi seaswimmer,

I'll second 40. My dad has the same bike the BE Touristque (The only british eagle frame with 531ST tubing afaik). The fork definitely looks odd though, seems to bent from here. As its a touring frame they have a more relaxed geometry compared to a racer say and that fork are at odds to that. Don't have the bike to hand to compare it, but it looks strange.

I'll second at 40 as the forks may have to be replaced.
