    Up until now in the 6N we've stuck with the RWC side partly because of a perceived lack of time to realistically try anything else. We've now been handed an opportunity because of tonights cancellation. We've 2 weeks off with our next game at home to Italy where we could potentially look at trying something different. Without being disrespectful to Italy we've 3 weeks preparation for France with a warm up game during that time. All assuming our replay is during the March weekend of course.

    I'm interested what changes people would like to see and in what positions during those 3 weeks, keeping in mind available replacements.

    It's a multiple choice poll and I've excluded Healy/Best/Ross/POC and Kearney for obvious reasons.

    O'callaghan out, Tuohy in.
    Murray out, Reddan in.
    D'Arcy out, McFadden in.
    Earls out, O'Malley in

    There is a full schedule of Pro12 games on next weekend I'd like to think some players will be released from the Ireland squad and would possibly be able to play themselves into contention for the Italy game the following week. I'm talking about Reddan and Paddy Wallace here. Realistically I think Kidney has picked his team for the 6 Nations though and it pains me to say it and see it but I don't expect him to make any changes to it.

    Firstly, Italy are no pushovers. To call it a warm up game shows your level of rugby knowledge. They will push us very close and to say it's a foregone conclusion is massively disrespectful.

    Secondly, I'd switch Ryan for DOC and Bowe and Earls positionally.

    2nd row: Ryan in for Donncha O'Callaghan and Tuohy to take his place on the bench

    Back row: 6 Ferris 7 O'Mahony 8 Heaslip {SOB has been below-par this year, getting driven back too frequently - maybe he could do with a break?}

    Scrum half: Reddan for Murray

    Backs: Earls and Bowe to swap

    Even if he only left Donncha O'Callaghan out it would be a start anyway

    McFadden for D'Arcy

    I would like EOM for Earls, at least for the Italy game, but it won't happen. Earls might leave the team as between him and Trimble, Trimble is in better form (obviously on the wing as Earls hasn't played there), and DK wouldn't allow Earls to not start.

    DOC for Ryan is the most obvious.

    I'd let Murray try develop with Sexton. And yes, Sexton didn't play badly against Wales. He set up Bowe's try, and with regards to the ball he kicked away, the gameplan needs to change, not Sexton.
