Rent allowance confusion

hi just editing it a bit to explain a bit better. sorry if its a bit garbled.

theres myself, partner and 1 child and having to move out of our current home and find a new place due to the rent allowance changes. the place we're in now exceeds the rent limit.

we're in a bit of a rush to find a place as we dont have long left before we have to be out of here and finding it hard to find a suitable place as they seem to be either above the rent limit or dont accept RA tenants.

we've found a place thats well within our limit. its in the same county but a different town to the one we're in now. dont know if that makes a difference, does it? we've been assessed by the housing authority so i assume that means the entire county we're in or is it just for the one town?
the place seems nice but it has 4 bedrooms. can we be refused RA because of this?

also another thing. on my review form it says i have to return everything within 2 weeks or payment will be suspended. if this happens can i still send the same form off when i do get everything completed or do i have to reapply/get a different form?

Just because you have found a house below the maximum limits doesn't mean that they will give you the full amount, they can set a limit lower then the maximum, they may not agree to pay the full amount for a 4 bedroomed house if you only need 2 bedrooms.

You must be resident in the area of the local authority who's housing list you are on. If you are on the list for a particular Town Council then you must be renting in that area.

If you have to apply to a central rents unit then regarding the 2 weeks I would send back whatever documentation you have completed and tell them the rest will follow. Make sure you put your PPS number on everything, keep copies of everything, and get a posting certificate from the post office. . luck
