So are you a Hirsute hunk or skinny slump?

In order to test this you must enter your data into the poll below to find

I have put it into laymans terms based on how long you beard takes to grow

So how long does you beard take to grow and how long in your chest hair?

YES! I am forever threatening my boyfriend with the tweezers for the random hairs.

If he was hairy all over I could probably deal with it, but it's the odd one here and there that drive me nuts.

He has none of it though and won't let me near him and gets really mad when I pull one with my hands with no warning. Big baby. I'll get him while he sleeps sometime.

    Big fan of facial hair!

How can you test your theory on a thread! It's hardly a professional scientific approach therefore the results with be false!

Interesting question, re the thread title - Does sexual selection prove hairy men are the epitome of male attractive as opposed to how hairy are you.

But would take a lot of actual research, instead of random samples of internet forum users.

But, this is what you should do ... :D

Look into the relative hirsutism of male hominids over the last about 1,000,000 years (natural selection is sloooow, so need a big range), and the age they became hirsute at, since if it's far over the median age of mate selection, it is irrelevant to the theory (ie, children already present, so to late to change your mind and not mate with the guy)

I think, as a species, hominids have become less hirsute (compare against Australopithecus, or Erectus, which obviously are older than 1,000,000 years :)) but is this because of mate choice reasons? Or other selection pressures? I mean hair is a great insulator so having it would make a lot of sense, but... as we migrated out of Africa to more northern regions, the melatonin loss makes sense, so perhaps, the hair loss also makes sense.
The OP's question changes from "Do women find hairy men sexy" to did we begin to loose our body hair before or after the first African diaspora :pac:

OP, I expect a research outline to be presented to the beers next week
    :D:D:D
