MS Office 2007

I'm sick of using Open Office - it's fine for free software, but when I have a perfectly good 2007 Office product key it seems silly to persist with it.

Problem is that I can't find 2007 office anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

***To make sure nobody gets any funny ideas***

I HAVE a product key so I don't need any illegal download. Just a regular one.

Google 'MSDN downloads' and register. Can't link ATM as I'm on the phone

I don't think the MSDN has Office to download, it has almost everything else though.

    Thanks but it didn't work.

In the options it has Professional, Home and Student and Small business.

The one I have the key for is MS Office Basic. Tried putting in the key anyway but it didn't work.

    Basic: http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Office-Basic-2007/3000-18483_4-55325.html

They revamped how the versions worked in 2010 I notice. "Basic" is now Home and Business. There is now a Starter Edition that ships with most new OEM PCs that gives you Word and Excel Basic (leaves out quite a few options from the ribbon interface).

Ah I see! :p But do they need you to have a product key then to activate it? Or do you need to buy it?

I think it's possibly working. It recognised my product key and it's downloading at any rate.
    I selected small business.
It says that the version i'm getting is "Microsoft® Office Professional Hybrid 2007".
I really have missed MS office. Open Office is fine for free software but lots of little touches here and there, in Excel in particular, mean the difference between fiddling around with stock descriptions for days and hours.

Thanks for the help all. Hopefully I can confirm that it is indeed working.

I can't imagine I'm the only one with a seemingly useless product key that can be converted to a tedium-shortening device.

EDIT: "The installation of this package failed".

The different SKUs of MS office will recognise your product key and install only the correct version anyway.

Same goes for windows, you can use a basic key on an ultimate disc and it will only install basic. This was done to reduce the costs of shipping and means they can easily automate the disc burning process without having a ton of separate processes in place.
