New reci regs

    Hi all been out of the domestic game since the economy collapse ( have been in it for ten years befor ) just overheard somebody saying something about new regs on bathroom wiring....something about an RCD??? Anybody fill me in or got any info....have a Rewire coming up soon and need get up to scratch on any new regs!! Any help would be great!!

    Separate circuit required for a Bathroom and to be wired to a 10A Rcd.

    lights in zones excluding selv -independent rcd

    emergency was scrapped for domestic bathrooms

    if I recall the rules says all circuits in zones-independent rcd

    dunno what thats about-shower and lights anyhow

    yes
    i find it simpler to wire the bathrooms independently in 1.5 t+e back to an rcbo at the board
