wonder if anyone can help me with this one, a good buddy of mine who lives in the north and has a UK driving licence has applied for a job and is fairly confident of getting it, its a driving job driving the companies vans and of course needs a full licence, the company is in the south so how does it work if he lives in north, works for company in south using uk licence driving southern van? The company told him its not a problem but if stopped at a checkpoint or customs would there be a problem?

When I was on the road I used my German licence, my friend had a UK licence.
No problems whatsoever, never got hassle for it.
