I know whining about Christmas starting early is common but this year it seems like people have been going on about Valentine's day for the last month. What's the big deal? Card and a box of chocolates and that's that. Seems to be a huge palava about it this year for some reason.

What does NYOM stand for? In Italy, they actually dedicate the day after Valentines as a day for singles to celebrate their freedom!

on tuesday the only thing i'll definitely be doing is avoiding my housemate, as I don't want to hear him moaning about how he has no girlfriend.

I will be going to Gallagher's Boxty House for lunch then the Temple Bar for an Irish Coffee and drinks.
I will also be leaving a Valentines card for someone I secretly admire.
The next day is my birthday, so I will be getting ready to celebrate that.
